Visiting a new church for the first time can be a little nerve racking, especially if you don't know what to expect. We have an amazing host team that will greet you as you walk through the door. We will do everything we can to make your first experience at the Refuge a great one.

A typical Refuge church service is about 60-to-90 minutes in length. 

Each service begins with praise and worship music. Song lyrics are projected onto screens so you can sing along or engage in worship however you feel the most comfortable. We rejoice and have a great celebration. We clap our hands, raise our hands, pray aloud, and sing at the top of our lungs. It's so much fun!

Following worship, you will experience passionate preaching on relevant Biblical topics. Each sermon is rooted in Scripture, and related in a way you can understand and apply to your life.

We're working on securing a parking lot for our guests. Until then, street parking is free and there is a lot of it around this area of Ballard.

Song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and Jesus-filled message.
